Teresa is no longer a necromancer, it seems like enemies are everywhere, and a conspiracy is on the horizon. Colin has to leave the coven to attend a peace summit between several other mage covens and the Marshal’s Office of Paranormal Activity, leaving Teresa in charge while he’s away. However, on her second day in charge, a high-ranking member of the coven, the American Sorcerer Society, is found murdered.
