MJ Maddox is a self-publishing author who has written as a hobby since early childhood. He is an avid fan of both fantasy and science fiction and began writing with the goal of publishing his first book while he was working as a high school substitute teacher. He grew up and currently lives in Folsom, California, and grew up with a visual impairment called Acromatopsia. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching with the goal of teaching U.S. History while also writing several books.
